Privacy & data
Classroom records stay purposeful.
This page describes the product's data handling. The school is responsible for authorizing its use and explaining its own policies to families.
This public website
The named students, scores and reading examples are fictional. This website does not ask visitors to submit student records. No advertising or third-party analytics scripts are included in its source.
School portal and Android app
The system stores student/class identifiers, reading sheets, test events, teacher notes, reading time and results to support assessment and progress reports. Portal access is invite-only. Enrolled devices authenticate with their own device key.
Offline records
The Android app stores its database encrypted on the device. Saved tests remain until the server explicitly acknowledges a successful upload. Do not uninstall the app or clear its data while records are waiting to upload.
History and access
Saved assessment history is append-only. A correction is a revision, and archiving a student preserves their history. School boundaries are enforced in PostgreSQL through restricted roles and row-level security. Administrators can revoke a device's server access without remotely wiping it.
Questions about a student's data
Contact the school administrator through your school's normal communication channel for access, export, correction or deletion requests. School authorization, retention decisions and backup arrangements must be established before live school use.
